Industrial and Business Partnership

University partnerships with industries and businesses are commonly built on the condition that the university is well-equipped with superior research infrastructures and facilities of which industrial partners can take advantage to carry out their projects and find solutions for the arisen issues. IUT has an active university-industry collaboration with both public and private sectors ranging from large industries to small- and medium-sized enterprises. This relationship is beneficial for IUT as well. The constant association of IUT with recognized corporations has provided ample opportunities for practicing applied science first-hand. It has encouraged the knowledge and technology exchange and led to the commercialization of academic research. The following are a few of the partnerships IUT has formed over the years:

Isfahan Science and Technology Town

Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), inaugurated by IUT faculty members in 1993, incorporates two Science Parks and Incubators into an area of 520 ha. Its vicinity with IUT has created a unique platform to establish university-industry collaborations bolstering the economy.  This spacious town resides university spin-off companies, offices of manufacturing and service companies, research centers, and governmental R&D units all are clustered to meet its all-pervasive objectives.
